Ecosystem scientist Professor Yadvinder Malhi appointed CBE in 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours
Professor Yadvinder Malhi, Professor of Ecosystem Science at the School of Geography and the Environment, has been appointed CBE for services to Ecosystem Science in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
Professor Malhi is the leader of the Ecosystems Programme at the Environmental Change Institute, Director of the Oxford Centre for Tropical Forests and coordinates the Oxford University Biodiversity Network, and is ex-President of the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation.
